This is a long, demanding day, not an easy drive for every traveller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crossing the Atal Tunnel is quick, but tunnel access does not guarantee Kunzum Pass access. The pass can be closed by snow or repair even when the tunnel is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The roughest part is the Gramphu to Batal stretch, with broken surface, loose gravel and snowmelt water crossings that are shallowest in the early morning and deeper by afternoon.
