A licence is issued only after a technical committee approves their training and the safety of their equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So before you pay, ask to see your pilot\u2019s registration or licence. In July 2024, the Ministry of Tourism told the Lok Sabha that marshals had been deployed at the Bir-Billing take-off and landing sites. It added that a District Technical Committee ensured the rules\u2019 protocols were followed, with random inspections carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same reply stated that the state Tourism Department reported 9 deaths in tandem and solo flights at Bir-Billing from 2020 to 19 July 2024.
