District Kinnaur says the Manali\u2013Kaza\u2013Reckong Peo route remains closed for most of winter and spring. It also notes road blocks at some places in winter and advises getting road-condition information before you start. District Kinnaur says one contract for the whole duration is the less expensive option for a fixed-schedule round trip. The trade-off is flexibility, so ask for written terms that cover what happens if a leg is cancelled for weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A per-day cab suits a flexible schedule. You can also take a one-way taxi to Kalpa or Reckong Peo and hire locally there. Groups of two or more, sponsored by a recognised Indian travel agency, may visit listed Pooh-block places for 30 days. The list includes Nako, Chango, Maling, Pooh, Khab, Lippa and Asrang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The district lists the Inner Line Permit fee at the e-Governance Centre as <strong>\u20b9200 per person<\/strong>, plus the agency\u2019s service charges. Fees can change, so follow the current official procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If anyone tells you, as an Indian traveller, that Kalpa, Sangla or Chitkul needs a permit, check the district list before paying.
