Jibhi Tour Packages 2026 – Follow the Trails Where the Forest Still Whispers

There’s a specific moment on the Aut–Jibhi road, somewhere after you exit the 2.8 km Aut Tunnel, when the noise of the plains just stops. The Beas gives way to the Tirthan, the mountains close in like a green cathedral, and the air starts smelling of deodar resin and wet stone. That’s when you know you’ve arrived. Jibhi, tucked at 1,600 metres in the Banjar Valley of Kullu district, isn’t loud like Manali or crowded like Kasol. It’s a sleepy hamlet of wooden-shingle cottages, trout-filled streams, and forest trails where the only sound is your own footsteps. Once you’ve walked these Himalayan trails, the rest of Himachal starts to feel almost too busy.

At HimTrails, we’ve spent 5+ years handcrafting Jibhi tour packages that go far beyond the standard Jalori Pass photo-stop. We know the Chehni Kothi heritage trails where a 1,500-year-old Himalayan tower still stands, the offbeat trails through Shringa Rishi’s temple village, and the quiet orchard trails of Ghiyagi where homestay owners still cook you Siddu on a wood-fired chulha. We also know which riverside properties on the Tirthan trails actually have running hot water in January — and which don’t.

Whether you’re a couple looking for a snowfall-dusted wooden cottage, a family hunting a safe Himalayan escape, or a solo traveller ready to hike the Jalori–Serolsar forest trails, our Jibhi tour packages for 2026 are built around what you actually want. Starting at just ₹11,499 per person, covering 2-night weekend escapes to 6-night Jibhi-Shoja-Tirthan circuits, every trail has a story. Yours starts here.

Browse our Jibhi tour packages below, pick the one that feels right, and WhatsApp us to confirm — most bookings are locked in under 10 minutes.

Our Jibhi Tour Packages 2026 – Every Traveller, Every Trail

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all itineraries. The couple chasing a quiet wooden-cabin honeymoon on the Tirthan trails needs something completely different from the four-friend weekend trip that wants a campfire, a trek, and some fly-fishing thrown in. That’s why every HimTrails Jibhi tour package is built with purpose, flexibility, and genuine local knowledge baked in.

Below you’ll find our full range of Jibhi tour packages for 2026 — sorted by duration, travel style, and budget. Each one includes handpicked accommodation (wooden cottages, riverside homestays, heritage stays), private transfers via Aut Tunnel, curated sightseeing across the Banjar Valley trails, and our 24×7 support from the moment you leave home to the moment you return.

🌸 Jibhi Honeymoon Packages — Romantic Trails, Just for Two

Jibhi is arguably India’s most underrated honeymoon destination, and we’re quietly glad about that. Picture waking up in a wooden cottage on the Tirthan riverside, the sound of water the only alarm you need, breakfast of apple pancakes on a balcony that looks straight into a pine forest trail. Our Jibhi honeymoon packages are built for couples who want privacy over photo-ops. You get couple-friendly heritage wooden stays (Chalet-style properties with private balconies), surprise in-room decor and cake on arrival, a candlelight dinner by the river, and scenic drives through the Banjar forest trails to Jalori Pass. No crowds. No honking. Just the two of you.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Jibhi Family Tour Packages — Safe Trails, Big Smiles

Jibhi is one of the safest Himalayan destinations you can take kids to. Low altitude (1,600 m), no oxygen concerns, short drives, and genuinely friendly locals. Our family Jibhi tour packages include easy sightseeing trails to the Jibhi Waterfall (a 10-minute walk from the main road), a gentle forest trail drive to Shoja, a half-day at Jalori Pass (weather permitting), and time at a riverside property where kids can skip stones on the Tirthan trails for hours. We book family-vetted cottages, arrange home-style Himachali meals, and keep drive times under 2 hours wherever possible.

🎒 Jibhi Group Tour Packages — Better Together on Every Trail

A group trip to Jibhi is a different beast entirely — and our favourite kind. Pine forest camping trails near Ghiyagi, a full-day trek from Jalori Pass to Raghupur Fort (at 3,535 m), bonfire nights on the riverbank, and trout-grilling dinners at a local farmhouse. Our group Jibhi tour packages (ideal for 6–30 people) include spacious shared cottages or camp setups, group transport from Delhi or Chandigarh, group activity bookings (trekking, river crossings, rappelling near Jibhi Waterfall), and an on-ground coordinator who travels with you. Corporate offsites, college reunions, and friend trips all fit here.

💰 Budget Jibhi Tour Packages — Maximum Trails, Minimum Spend

Great travel doesn’t need to be expensive, and Jibhi is living proof. Our budget Jibhi tour packages start at ₹11,499 per person and include comfortable homestay accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner cooked by your hosts, sightseeing across the key Banjar trails (Jalori, Serolsar, Jibhi Waterfall), and shared cab transfers from Aut or Bhuntar. Every rupee is stretched smartly — we cut the extras, not the experience.

🚌 Jibhi Tour Packages from Delhi by Volvo — The Classic Himalaya Trail

For most travellers from Delhi, NCR, Jaipur, and Chandigarh, the overnight HRTC Volvo to Aut is the doorway into the Banjar trails. Our Jibhi tour packages from Delhi by Volvo include pickup from ISBT Kashmere Gate, an AC sleeper/seater Volvo (10–12 hour journey), a waiting cab at Aut bus stand for the final 35 km scenic trail drive to Jibhi (about 1.5 hours through the Banjar Valley), and full on-ground arrangements. Perfect for 3N/4D weekend warriors and 5N/6D slow travellers alike.

Still planning? Let us build your perfect Jibhi itinerary — free, within 24 hours.

Why Jibhi? Because Some Trails Are Just Meant to Be Walked

Jibhi sits at 1,600 metres in the Banjar sub-valley of Kullu, roughly 55 km before Manali if you take the NH-3. That placement matters. You get the pine forests, snowfall, and Himalayan views without the altitude sickness, the traffic jams, or the tourist-menu cafés. The Tirthan river — one of the last untamed trout trails in India — runs clear and fast through the valley, and the Great Himalayan National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) starts just 15 km away.

Every season rewrites this valley. Spring (March–May) turns the forest trails into a wildflower corridor — wild roses, rhododendrons, and purple iris spill over every path. Summer (June–August) is when the Tirthan trails fill with fly-fishermen and the hillside meadows turn a violent, almost cartoon-green. Autumn (September–November) is the secret season — clear skies, golden apple orchard trails, and zero crowds. Winter (December–February) is when the magic happens at Jalori Pass — 3,120 metres, often waist-deep in snow, accessible only in short windows between storms.

Jibhi is made for a specific kind of traveller. The ones who don’t want Mall Road. The ones who’d rather read a book by a wooden window while a neighbour’s cow walks past. The ones who understand that the best Himalayan trails are the ones without signage. If you’ve done Manali and felt it was too much, or done Kasol and felt it was too loud, Jibhi is exactly where you should be going next.

The mountain trails here remind you that stillness is its own kind of adventure.

So the question was never really whether to visit Jibhi — it was always how to do it properly. And that’s exactly where HimTrails comes in. Below are our hand-built Jibhi tour packages for 2026, each one designed for a specific kind of traveller and a specific kind of trail. Find yours.

Best Places to Visit in Jibhi — A Trail-by-Trail Guide

Jibhi sits at the intersection of heritage, forest, and alpine beauty — and knowing which places to prioritise on your Jibhi trail can make the difference between a rushed stopover and a genuinely unforgettable trip. Whether you have 3 days or 6, these are the places that define a real Jibhi tour package experience. Each one tells you something different about this valley — and together, they tell the whole story.

Jalori Pass — The High Altitude Snow Trail

At 3,120 metres (10,800 ft), Jalori Pass is the crown of Banjar Valley and the single most important stop on any Jibhi trail. The 12-km road trail from Jibhi climbs sharply through thick oak and cedar forest trails before breaking into open meadows at the top. In summer (April–October), the pass is a base for two of the area’s best hiking trails — Serolsar Lake and Raghupur Fort.

From December to March, the pass is often closed by heavy snowfall, but the lower road trail up to Ghiyagi stays open and gives you full snowfall experience without the altitude risk. If you’re coming for snowfall, time your Jibhi tour package for late December or February — January brings the heaviest snow but also the most road closures.

Serolsar Lake — The Sacred Forest Trail

Serolsar is a small, glass-still alpine lake 5 km from Jalori Pass, accessible only by a forest trail through ancient oak. The lake is sacred to the local deity Budhi Nagin, and legend has it the water is always clear because a small bird keeps it clean — which sounds silly until you see how genuinely leaf-free the water is. A small wooden temple sits at one end.

The Serolsar trail is the most beginner-friendly high-altitude hike in Himachal — flat for most of the way, well-marked, and takes about 90 minutes one way. Carry your own water and a light snack; there’s one tea shack near the lake but it’s only open April–October.

Raghupur Fort — The Ridge Top Trail

8 km round trip from Jalori Pass, the Raghupur Fort trail climbs to 3,535 m along a ridge trail that opens up some of the most dramatic mountain views in all of Himachal — Dhauladhar to the west, Pir Panjal to the north, and Kinnaur Kailash on the east on clear days. The “fort” itself is just stone ruins scattered across a meadow, but that’s not the point. The point is the trail.

Best attempted April–November. In winter this ridge trail becomes a serious snowshoe hike and requires experienced local guides — something HimTrails arranges for every adventure package.

Jibhi Waterfall — The Gorge Trail

A 10-minute walk from the Jibhi main road gets you to one of the prettiest waterfalls in Kullu district — a 20-ft cascade tucked inside a narrow, moss-covered gorge. A small wooden bridge crosses the stream, and the rocks around the fall are ideal for a riverside picnic. The waterfall trail is easy enough for grandparents and kids, making it a family favourite.

In monsoon (July–August), the water volume triples and the gorge trail becomes slippery — our guides re-route you through a safer upper-forest trail when needed.

Chehni Kothi — The Heritage Tower Trail

45 minutes from Jibhi, then a 1.5-km uphill trail brings you to Chehni Kothi — a 1,500-year-old, 45-metre-tall Himalayan wooden-and-stone tower. It’s one of the tallest traditional structures in the Western Himalayas, and yet almost no tourist knows about it. Built without cement, held together by interlocking deodar beams and dry stone — earthquake-proof for over a millennium.

The surrounding Chehni village feels frozen in time. Stone-slate roofs, walnut trees, old women weaving patu shawls on wooden looms. This is one of those cultural trails you won’t find on MakeMyTrip.

Shoja — The Sunset Viewpoint Trail

A sleepy hamlet at 2,700 m, 5 km above Jibhi on the road to Jalori. Shoja has maybe six homestays, one tea shop, and the single best sunset viewpoint trail in the valley. From the Shoja ridge, you can see five Himalayan ranges layered one behind the other as the light drops. If Jibhi is quiet, Shoja is silent.

Most of our 5N+ Jibhi tour packages include a Shoja night because the difference between a Jibhi sunset and a Shoja sunset is the difference between a photograph and a memory.

Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) — The Wildlife Trail

15 km from Jibhi, the Great Himalayan National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering 1,171 sq km of pristine Himalayan biodiversity. Snow leopards, Himalayan tahr, musk deer, and the elusive western tragopan all live here. You can enter via Ropa, Sai Ropa, or Gushaini, and the short Tirthan-side nature trails (1–2 hours) are easy day trips from Jibhi. Serious trekkers do the 4–7 day jungle trails that go deeper. More info on the official HP Forest site.

Tirthan Valley — The River Trout Trail

Technically a separate valley, but only 18 km from Jibhi. The Tirthan river is one of India’s last pure trout rivers — no dams, no silt, no sewage. Fly-fishing permits can be arranged through the state fisheries office (HimTrails handles this). The riverside trails near Gushaini are perfect for slow walks, and many of our Jibhi tour packages now include a day or night in Tirthan.

Best Time to Visit Jibhi — Matching Your Travel Style to the Right Season Trail

Jibhi is one of those rare destinations that genuinely works year-round — but each season in the Banjar Valley follows a different trail, and knowing which one suits you best makes all the difference.

मौसम महीने क्या उम्मीद करें सबसे अच्छा ट्रेल
Spring
March – May
Wildflowers blooming, rhododendron forest trails, Jalori opening up
Couples, photographers, first-time visitors
गर्मियाँ
June – August
Lush green valley trails, trout fishing season, occasional rain
Families, trekkers, offbeat travellers
पतझड़
सितंबर - नवंबर
Apple orchard trails golden, crystal-clear skies, empty hiking trails
Solo travellers, photographers, Jalori trek lovers
सर्दियाँ
दिसंबर - फरवरी
Heavy snow at Jalori, magical cold, cosy cottage season
Snow lovers, honeymoon, winter trail enthusiasts

For first-time visitors, we genuinely recommend mid-April to mid-June or late September to early November. Jalori Pass is open, trekking trails are safe, and the valley looks its best. Avoid mid-July to mid-August unless you’re fine with monsoon landslides — the Mandi–Aut stretch does get affected.

Things to Do in Jibhi — Adventure Trails & Beyond

Jibhi isn’t a destination where you sit still — but it’s also not one where you run around. The pace is slower, the trails are quieter, and the activities are more about depth than adrenaline. Here’s what not to miss:

  • Hike to Serolsar Lake — 5 km forest trail from Jalori Pass, easy-moderate, 3 hours round trip (April–November)
  • Trek to Raghupur Fort — 8 km ridge trail from Jalori, moderate grade, 3,535 m altitude, best April–October
  • Trout fishing on Tirthan — fly-fishing permits arranged, prime season April–June
  • Visit Chehni Kothi — 1,500-year-old heritage tower trail, half-day, all seasons
  • Jibhi Waterfall visit — easy 10-minute walk, family-friendly
  • Shringa Rishi Temple darshan — heritage trails in Banjar town, culturally significant
  • GHNP nature trails — 1–2 hour day trails from Gushaini, UNESCO World Heritage site
  • Camping near Ghiyagi — pine forest camping trails, bonfire nights, ideal April–October
  • Shoja sunset walk — short ridge trail with 5-range Himalayan view
  • Local Siddu cooking session — at a Ghiyagi homestay, authentic food trails
  • River crossing & rappelling — organised adventure trails near Jibhi Waterfall
  • Bashleo Pass trek — 2-day high-altitude trail, 3,350 m, experienced trekkers only

Jibhi has everything — heritage, forest, snow, river, culture. The only variable is who you go with. Planning a Jibhi trip yourself means juggling Volvo bookings, cab handovers at Aut, homestay availability in peak weekends, Jalori road status, and trout permits. Planning it with HimTrails means one call, one team, and someone who’s driven every road on this list at least a dozen times. Here’s why thousands of travellers choose us every year.

What to Eat in Jibhi — The Food Trail You Didn't Know You Needed

खाना के बारे में

Steamed stuffed bread made of wheat, with walnut or poppy seed filling. Best at Ghiyagi homestays.
Trout (grilled / tandoori)
Freshly caught from the Tirthan river trails. Ordered 2 hours in advance at most riverside cafés.
धाम
Traditional Himachali thali served on special occasions. Rajma, madra, kheer, rice — all in one plate.
Babru
Black gram-stuffed kachori — a local snack often served with tamarind chutney.
Chha Gosht
Slow-cooked mutton curry in yogurt gravy — the king of Himachali festive food.
कैफे संस्कृति
Jibhi’s main road has 4–5 cafés — Cafe Boheme, Dew Drops, Dreamers Cafe — great for pasta, breakfast, coffee.

Jibhi Travel Tips — Straight from the Trails

  • Book Volvos to Aut at least 7 days in advance in peak season (April–June, Oct, Dec) — they sell out.
  • Jalori Pass road is often closed mid-December to early March — confirm status with HimTrails before booking.
  • Carry BSNL or Airtel SIM — Jio has patchy coverage beyond Aut. No Vi signal in Jibhi.
  • ATMs are scarce — one in Banjar town (8 km away). Carry ₹5,000–10,000 cash per person.
  • Pack layers even in June — Jibhi evenings on the forest trails drop below 10°C.
  • Trout fishing requires a permit from the Fisheries Office, Banjar — we handle this.
  • Jibhi has no direct petrol pump — nearest is Aut (30 km). Refuel before the turn-off.
  • Respect local customs at Shringa Rishi Temple and Serolsar — no leather, no photography inside sanctum.

How to Reach Jibhi — Your Entry Trail to the Himalayas

सड़क द्वारा (सबसे लोकप्रिय ट्रेल)

The Delhi–Jibhi highway trail is a classic Himalayan road journey. Overnight HRTC Volvo buses depart from ISBT Kashmere Gate every evening and reach Aut bus stand by 5:30–6:30 AM (10–12 hrs). From Aut, it’s a scenic 35 km, 1.5-hour cab drive through the Banjar Valley road trail — over the Tirthan bridge, past Larji dam, through apple and walnut orchards — to Jibhi. All our Jibhi tour packages from Delhi include this transfer. For self-drive travellers, the NH-3 via Chandigarh–Mandi–Aut is well-maintained; total Delhi to Jibhi is approximately 500 km / 12 hrs. Road status updates available via BRO.

हवाई मार्ग द्वारा

The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu–Manali Airport), about 60 km from Jibhi on the river trail road. Flights operate from Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh (mostly Alliance Air and IndiGo). Flights are weather-dependent and often cancelled in monsoon and winter — plan buffer days. The next alternative is Chandigarh Airport (280 km), which is far more reliable but requires a 7-hour onward road trail. HimTrails arranges an airport-to-hotel cab transfer with all fly-in packages.

ट्रेन द्वारा

The closest railhead is Chandigarh (280 km, 7 hrs to Jibhi) or Joginder Nagar (80 km, narrow-gauge terminus of the Pathankot line). Most travellers combine Chandigarh rail with a private cab or HRTC Volvo from Chandigarh ISBT to Aut. Our train-inclusive packages pick up from both Chandigarh and Joginder Nagar stations.

Whichever way you’re travelling — overnight Volvo from Delhi, a flight into Bhuntar, or a train to Chandigarh — HimTrails coordinates the full transfer trail from your starting point to your Jibhi homestay. You don’t need to figure out the last mile. We’ve got it.

HimTrails — We Know These Jibhi Trails Like No One Else

Our name comes from the trails. Not just the trekking trails — though we know the Jalori-to-Serolsar route the way you know your street — but the winding Banjar road trails that climb through oak and cedar, the orchard trails that smell of walnuts and woodsmoke, the river trails where you can hear trout breaking the surface of the Tirthan, and the forest trails above Shoja where silence is actually loud.

When you book a Jibhi tour package with HimTrails, you’re walking a trail that’s been scouted, tested, and loved by people who consider Himachal Pradesh not just a workplace but a home. We’ve eaten Siddu at the same Ghiyagi kitchens you’ll eat at. We’ve waited out storms at the same Shoja viewpoint you’ll sit at. The Jibhi trails are in our name. They’re in our blood. And they’re waiting for you.

अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न

What is the price of a Jibhi tour package?

Jibhi tour packages at HimTrails start at ₹11,499 per person for a 2N/3D weekend escape and go up to ₹32,499+ for a 7N/8D Jibhi–Manali grand circuit trail. The final price depends on duration, type of stay (budget homestay, mid-range wooden cottage, or heritage riverside property), mode of transport (Volvo vs private cab), and group size. Couples and groups of 4+ get the best per-person rates. WhatsApp us on 7717697177 for a custom quote — you’ll have a full itinerary and transparent price in your inbox within hours.

What is the best time to visit Jibhi?

The best time to visit Jibhi truly depends on what kind of trail experience you’re after. For wildflower forest trails and pleasant weather, April–June is ideal. For crystal-clear photography skies and empty hiking trails, September–November is the secret season. For snowfall experiences, late December and February are magical — though Jalori Pass is often closed by snow and the road only goes up to Ghiyagi in peak winter. Avoid mid-July to mid-August unless you’re comfortable with monsoon landslide risk on the Mandi–Aut stretch.

How many days are enough for a Jibhi tour package?

For a basic Jibhi trail experience covering Jibhi Waterfall, Jalori Pass, and Serolsar Lake, 2 nights and 3 days is the minimum. If you want to add the Raghupur Fort ridge trail, Shoja, and Chehni Kothi heritage trail, we recommend 4N/5D or 5N/6D. For a full Banjar Valley + Tirthan Valley + GHNP experience, 6N/7D is ideal. A combined Jibhi–Manali trip works best in 7N/8D. Honeymooners usually opt for our 4N/5D romantic trail package for the perfect balance of sightseeing and cottage time.

Is Jibhi safe for solo female travellers?

Yes, Jibhi is widely regarded as one of the safest Himalayan destinations in India for solo female travellers. The villages are small, locals are famously hospitable, and the main tourist trails (Jibhi Waterfall, Jalori Pass, Serolsar) are well-travelled and well-marked. That said, it’s still wise to book through a reputable local operator like HimTrails, stay in verified homestays, avoid remote forest trails after dark, and carry a BSNL SIM for connectivity. HimTrails offers solo travel packages with additional on-ground coordination support for female travellers on request.

What should I pack for a Jibhi trip?

Packing depends on the season of your trail. Year-round essentials: warm layers (Jibhi evenings drop below 10°C even in June), a waterproof jacket, sturdy trail shoes or trekking footwear, sunscreen, a power bank, and a basic first aid kit. In winter (Dec–Feb), pack thermal innerwear, heavy down jackets, gloves, a wool cap, and snow-grip boots. In summer, light woolens, a windcheater, and a sun hat are enough. Always carry a reusable water bottle — the Banjar Valley trails have multiple fresh mountain-water sources.

Can I get a customised Jibhi tour package from HimTrails?

Absolutely — every single package at HimTrails is fully customisable. Tell us your travel dates, group size, budget, preferred trail type (leisure, adventure, romantic, family), and any specific places you want to include on your Jibhi trail — we’ll build a full day-by-day itinerary, recommend the best accommodation along the route, and share a transparent price breakdown within 24 hours. There’s no obligation to book. We’re happy to help you plan whether you book with us or not.

What is the difference between a Jibhi trip package with Volvo vs private cab?

The HRTC or private Volvo from Delhi to Aut is the most cost-effective way to begin the Jibhi trail — AC sleeper/seater buses depart each evening from ISBT Kashmere Gate and reach Aut by 6 AM, from where we arrange a cab for the final 35 km to Jibhi. A private cab from Delhi costs more but offers flexibility — you pick your departure time, stop where you like on the trail (Murthal, Chandigarh, Mandi), and can carry more luggage. For groups of 4+, the per-person cost of a private cab often matches the Volvo + local cab combination. HimTrails offers both options.

Do I need any permits to visit Jibhi or nearby trails?

Jibhi itself requires no permit — it’s an open tourist destination. However, certain activities and trails do need permits. The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) requires an entry permit (₹200 Indian, ₹400 foreign) issued at Sai Ropa gate. Trout fishing on the Tirthan needs a licence from the Fisheries Office in Banjar. Deep treks like Bashleo Pass or multi-day GHNP trails require additional forest permits and a certified guide. HimTrails arranges all these permits as part of your package — you just carry an ID and show up.

What adventure activities can I do in Jibhi?

Jibhi offers some of Himachal’s best low-altitude adventure trails. Top activities include: the Serolsar Lake hiking trail (5 km, beginner-friendly), Raghupur Fort ridge trek trail (8 km, moderate), Bashleo Pass high-altitude trek (2-day, 3,350 m), trout fishing on the Tirthan river trails (April–June prime), rappelling and river crossing near Jibhi Waterfall, pine forest camping trails near Ghiyagi, GHNP jungle nature trails, and seasonal snow activities near Jalori Pass in winter. HimTrails arranges every activity with certified local guides as add-ons to your Jibhi tour package.

What makes HimTrails different from other Jibhi tour operators?

The difference is local. HimTrails is a Himachal-based company headquartered in Shimla — not a Delhi OTA, not a call centre, not a reseller. We have driven every Banjar Valley road, slept in every homestay we recommend, and spoken to every guide we send with our travellers. Our 4.9 Google rating comes from 3,973+ real travellers who walked these Jibhi trails with us, not automated reviews. We’re also the rare operator who will happily route you to a competitor if we think they’re a better fit — because we’re here for the trails, not the transaction. When you book with HimTrails, you get someone who genuinely knows the difference between a good mountain trail and a great one.
